Spaces in the building

The main rentable spaces are Studios A & B, Garden Room and the Gallery / Exhibition Space.

The building also includes four first-floor artist studios rented to local artists.

Capacities, dimensions, equipment, accessibility details and prices are awaiting confirmation.

History and current purpose

The purpose-built, environmentally designed arts facility has supported exhibitions, classes, workshops, artist residencies, events and learning for more than 20 years.

Ownership transferred to Ekopia in 2021 so the building could remain a community asset.

Ekopia is developing a balanced mix of community, creative and commercial activity so the venue can continue to support creativity and culture while becoming more widely used and financially sustainable.

Relationship to Moray Art Centre charity

Moray Art Centre charity previously ran its arts programme from the building under a lease arrangement.

It has ended that lease and continues independently as a charitable arts organisation.
